Wales

Film Locations. Cosmopolitan Cardiff. Snowdonia National Park. Machynlleth - green technology centre. Gower Peninsula - beaches, limestone cliffs. Brecon Beacons - Rugged hillls and wild moors.

Permits. Wales has a streamlined permitting process.

When to shoot? Wales
tends to be wetter than England, with slightly less sunshine. The coastal areas, however, can be very warm in summer, though conditions in upland areas can be changeable at all times of the year. The summer months of June to August are the hottest, though are also the busiest with tourists.

For monthly weather statistics please see here.

Please contact us for more specific weather and sun path information.

Costs. Wales is a relatively expensive place to shoot due to the high cost of locations, talent and crews. Wales also trades in the Great Britain Pound.

Talent is non-union and buyouts are negotiable. Wales is an ethnically diverse country. Wales's close proximity to London allows easy access to that pool of talent should you ever need to look further.

For an example of locally available talent looks see:

Lush

Creative talent. Wales has a limited pool of local directors, directors of photography and stills photographers. Its close proximity to other major European production centres allows easy access to those pools of creative talent should you ever need to look further.

Please contact us for recommended directors, DoP's and photographers for your project.

Crews are of a high standard.

Fringes. No hidden extras.

Premiums. We package deals for local crew / talent.
