Singapore

Film Locations. Singapore is a small country that you can reach most locations within an hour drive. Modern city looks - Business district, Orchard Road, Bugis Junction, Raffles Place, The Esplanade, contemporary architecture, Chinatown, Little India, vibrant colourful night markets. Further away you can get Sentosa island white sand beaches, Pulau Ubin Island for village life, Singapore Flyer (giant ferris wheel), Seletar Dam, the world's busiest shipping port, Changi Airport. Marina Bay Sands Hotel and SkyPark overlooking the Gardens by the Bay.

It is NOT possible to shoot at Parliament House.

Permits. Permitting is a streamlined processing. Most locations take 3-5 business days to permit. Blocking streets is possible but requires some extra lead time.

When to shoot? Singapore has a tropical climate. Singapore has two distinct monsoon seasons - December to March and then June to September. November to December is the rainy season. June to August is the best time to travel to Singapore, although it is still rainy and humid.
