Serbia offers a well-developed film industry infrastructure and a comprehensive set of production services.
Permits. No extraordinary restrictions or rules apply. Permitting in
Serbia is a very straightforward process.
When to shoot? The Serbian climate varies between a continental climate in the north, with cold winters, and hot, humid summers with well distributed rainfall patterns, and a more Adriatic climate in the south with hot, dry summers and autumns and relatively cold winters with heavy inland snowfall.

Costs. In general Serbia is a cost competitive place to shoot. Serbia trades in the Kuna which offers a favorable exchange rate for visiting western productions. Belgrade is the main production centre and all must travel from there.
Talent is non-union and buyouts are negotiable.
Serbia offers a mainly Serbian talent looks. Its close proximity to other major European production centres allows easy access those pools of talent should you ever
need to look further.

Creative talent. Serbia has a good pool of local directors, directors of photography and stills photographers including, amongst others, Petar Pasic. Serbia's close proximity to major European production centres allows easy access to those pools of creative talent should you ever need to look further.

Crew non-union. Crews are hard working, speak English and have extensive experience in servicing international productions. Crew costs are on average 15% less than Czech or Hungary.
