Munich - Oktoberfest, museums.
Bamberg - Small town with original renaissance architecture.
Rügen Island - chalk cliffs, beaches, Romantic-era spa architecture and tree-lined country roads.
Sylt Island - sand dunes, lighthouses.
Lübeck, Müritz National Park, Bremen, Alpine looks, Black Forest, Rhine River, Königssee lake, Neuschwanstein Castle and much more.
Hamburg, Berlin, Frankfurt, Dusseldorf and Munich are the main production centres.
Permits. Germany has a streamlined permitting process.
When to shoot? For the most part Germany has a continental climate with warm sunny summer months particularly in July and August, and cold wet and snowy winter months.

Costs. Germany is a relatively expensive place to shoot. Germany trades in the Euro. Any locations requiring travel outside of the main production centres are an additional cost to filming.
