Comoros

Locations. The Comoros is an African island archipelago in the Indian Ocean. Paradise white sand beaches, mountain landscapes, waterfalls, dormant volcanoes, Vendredi Mosque, plantations, fishing villages.
Permits. Most locations are possible given time, money and the right approach.
When to shoot? The islands have a maritime tropical climate with a hot and humid wet season from November to April, and a cool, drier season between May and October.
For monthly weather statistics please see: http://www.gaisma.com/en/dir/km-country.html
Please contact us for more specific weather and sun path information.
Costs. Locations, local talent and support crew are inexpensive but since little to no filming infrastructure exists all key crew and equipment must be brought in from abroad. Because the Comoros are isolated islands, prices tend to be more expensive than the rest of East Africa.
Talent is non-union and buyouts are negotiable.
