Cameroon

Locations. Cameroon is "Africa in miniature" as it exhibits all major climates and vegetation of the continent: coast, desert, mountains, rainforest, and savanna. Also of interest are the volcanic plugs near Rhumsiki. Crater lakes. Unique tribal villages. Waza National Wildlife Park. Royal palace of the Foumban Kingdom.
Permits. Most locations are possible given time, money and the right approach.
When to shoot? In the south, the dry season runs from November to February, the little rainy season from March to June and the big rains come between August and September. The tropical coastal areas receive a lot of rain. In the north the rainy season is spread out from May to the end of September, but receives very little over the year and drought is a way of life in the far north.
