Costs. Belgium is a relatively expensive place to shoot. Belgium trades in the Euro. Any locations requiring travel outside of Brussels are an additional cost to filming.

Talent. Most citizens are Belgian (French / Dutch looking) with some Turkish, Moroccan and Algerian looks also available. All other talent looks is best brought in from abroad.

Creative talent. Belgium has a good pool of local directors, directors of photography and stills photographers. Its close proximity to other major European production centres allows easy access to those pools of creative talent should you ever need to look further.
