When to shoot? Belgium has a maritime temperate climate, characterised by warm summers from May to September and mild winters peaking in January with occasional snow falls.

Costs. Belgium is a relatively expensive place to shoot. Belgium trades in the Euro. Brussels is the main film production centre and all needs to travel from there.

Talent. Most citizens are Belgian (French / Dutch looking) with some Turkish, Moroccan and Algerian looks also available. All other talent looks are best brought in from abroad.

Creative talent. Belgium has a good pool of local directors, directors of photography and stills photographers. Its close proximity to other major European production centres allows easy access to those pools of creative talent should you ever need to look further.
