Salt mine. Medieval castles. Roman archaeological sites at Carnuntum. Vineyards.
Vienna is the main production centre so all needs to travel from there.
Permits generally require a minimum of one week to process.
When to shoot? Austria has a temperate continental climate, with warm, sunny summers and cold winters. Alpine areas have more rain and lower temperatures.

Costs. Austria trades in the Euro. It is similar in costs to its Western European neighbors.
Talent are non-union and buyouts are negotiable.
Most talent in Austria is Caucasian looking but there are also some pools of Middle Eastern talent available. All other talent are best cast abroad.

Creative talent. Austria has a good pool of local directors, directors of photography and stills photographers. It's close proximity to other major European production centres allows easy access to those pools of creative talent should you ever need to look further.

Crews are of a high international standard. There is a good depth of crews in Vienna. Crews are also in unions however there is enough flexibility and we are able to package deals.
