Argentina

Locations. Argentina offers a world of location looks. Generic modern city and old Europe architecture looks. Coastal towns. Stunning car roads and bridges. The natural majesty of Patagonia. Various deserts, salt plains, forests, valleys, lakes, rivers, jungles, waterfalls including Iguazu Falls, farmland, glaciers and snowy mountains. The Bariloche snow region is quite far from the main production centre, Buenos Aires. The Andes are more easily reached through Santiago de Chile.

Permits. Depending on the specifics of the project most location permits require 5 to 7 working days. Downtown streets can only be shut down on the weekend. National parks require special permits. Aerial shots are not allowed in National Parks.

When to shoot? The Argentine climate is determined by the latitude, the proximity to the sea and the altitude. The principal climates are warm, temperate, arid and cold. In Buenos Aires the Autumn runs from March to May, Winter runs from May to August, Spring runs from August to November and Summer runs from December to March.
