Film Locations. Andorra is a very small mountain state located in the Pyrenees mountains between France and Spain. Andorra consists predominantly of rugged mountains with snow skiing in the winter and green valleys and bubbling streams in the warmer months.

When to shoot? November - April are the best for snow looks. May - September are the warmest months. July - August can be crowded with tourists.

Costs. Andorra trades in the Euro. Andorra is a small country with little to no film infrastructure. Having to bring all in from abroad can add significantly to your costs. Barcelona is the closest major production centre and only a three hour drive to Andorra.
Talent is non-union and buyouts are negotiable.
The local talent pool is very small so it is advised to bring in featured talent from abroad.
Andorrans, who are ethnically Catalan, are a minority in their own country; Spaniards, Portuguese, French, Britons, and Italians make up two thirds of Andorra's population. All other talent looks are best brought in from abroad.
Andorra has no local pool of directors, directors of photography and stills photographers. Its close proximity to major European production centres allows easy access to those pools of creative talent should you ever need to look further.
